Sorry for that, I understood everything wrong, but I didn't want to make you mad. Your code runs well in my pc, I didn't realize the bug was happening only with you, so I went in a completely different way. Next time I'll be more patient, it was a stupid fault of mine.

Why not? Fred is more than willing to help with bugs when he can, and
has in fact done so on many, many occasions.

I agree. Fred's great! So is PureBasic.

I think this is just an Windows ME problem. Maybe there is a constant or something that I can use to get the default directory and store it so that the PathRequester doesn't move it.

When I said that I was talking about that time. Fred wasn't in the forums, but PB&J Lover and I were. I just meant "Will you wait for Fred or accept my help?".

It works fine for me with Windows ME, so I highly doubt it. Have you tried
re-installing PureBasic and removing any UserLibraries before running the
app? It may be something like that causing the problem. So try it with a
clean PureBasic install and see how you go. Also, my Windows ME install
is 100% clean, so it's also possible that yours is compromised somehow.

Also, are you using jaPBe or the PureBasic editor? jaPBe may be including
some code without it being seen in your own source -- it has this functionality.

Is there anyone else here with ME that can confirm the problem?
