Eheemhh that wont make me test it :P At least not here!, would do on my other system. Not that I dont trust or anything... its just that I cant risk my data :p
So if you want to test my program, then backup your files. I tested with a folder containing 384 files with sizes from a few Kbytes to 100 Megabytes ... it works fine ... it only do a thing ... it move a file. There is no code that can delete or damage o file ... but backup your files before using it :P

It would be ok to keep in touch via messenger then..
chinese? I think theres 1 from china maybe? 2 from japan for what I could see (active members)...

isnt there already a german and an engliSH one ? dont know why you add them on your list.. But chinese? you think chineses programms in chineese? nah they do in english... even us, spanish people... I might have no program with variables in spanish for example! maybe one or two variables were in spanish..., in total!.

Ok so one from Mar del Plata.. the other one I know is from Bariloche... I'm from buenos aires :? well.. we have one at 400km from me, the other at 700km (maybe little more) :P and I bet those are the closest ones. heh weird thing! I think there aint many programmers here.. Better?

Kaisen2100: Hmmm.. I don't know , I will.. soon.. on my other system.. just.. not to risk.. stuff - By the way, the english download link is broken.. :P

Edit: Well Kaisen, seems like you need to study more on designing your applications.. The interface is not very friendly, your program does NOT display well on 800x600 (my scanstation's resolution), you must have your gadgets dynamically placed then, or design your program to run on every common resolution. Not to take as offence. .. Also, why it doesnt take sub-dirs ?

Yes Yes i know ... i do not need to study more ... know about design for 800 x 600 and others resolutions ... but why you don't use 1024 x 768 like me? its better and cleanner :) (i will think in that, i will try to redesign it to work in 800 x 600 ... and may 600 x 480 :P) Thanks dagcrack

By the way ... the english link is fixed ... thanks again

About dirs ... may be in V 2.0 (i am working in V 2.0 right now) ... you can see a post about that and post your opinion here

viewtopic.php?t=15332&highlight=

i am trying to make a good program ... and constructive critics are welcome ... i know that my big mistake is to program only for 1024 x 768 desktops  ... but i dont like 800 x 600  ... but i will think about it and redesign the Interface ... thanks

EDIT: THE PROGRAM WORKS NOW IN 800 X 600 ... TAKE A LOOK ... http://pbfilerelocator.atspace.com/

I think it would be best if we only had a english forum.

I just hate all the german purebasic pages, I can't understand a shitt. :(
What's about new functions for PureBasic 4.0 ?
Such as:
Text$ = TranslateDeutschToEnglish("Wunderbar")
Text$ = TranslateEnglishToSpanish("Fantastic")

two things:

1. i think i am the ONLY user from Israel (only Fred knows...)
and thats pretty bumming... :(

2. why wont we do an add-on to the form like generel discussion , tricks and tips... a "International Forums"
and put in there sub forums of countries.

and for the problem with posting codes in diffrent forum, i have a solution

each country will have a forum admin that will gather the new good codes and sort them and send it to code archive.

good day.

i know it has ads, but here is a good free webhost that possibly could have the different languages of pb forums hosted on... it does have php...
maybe a sticky with the different forums and their languages (aswell as maybe the pb homepage)

But if there are german and french forums, why not spanish? I can't see any reason.

In fact, for new registrations, should be good having forums in different languages because helps spreading PureBasic.

Yes, you are right Ricardo. This is the best way to get it under the masses.
(no, seriously: I think that there are a lot of potential users who face a language barrier... for Spanish it might be thousands when you look at the huge territory of this language.)

That would be the perfect way. Fully localized but still the power of sharing.

BTW, if you do a Google search for "purebasic", the 2nd and 3ยบ results drives to some old purebasic forums that show a "Sorry, but this board is currently unavailable. Please try again later." message!! :?
