Naming sverson's previous code as buggy_focus.pb and compiling from the command line I get the button focus rect and underlining. This is the same result as pressing [F5] or selecting Compile/Run from the PB IDE menu and using the [Enter] key to select.
As sverson pointed out, I too don't understand why there is a difference between selecting Compile/Run with [Enter] key and selecting it with mouse click.
