You can also use my litte pb-sources DataBase tool called "WissDa".

Image

( Please click on the image for a bigger screenshot [42KB])

It is very easy to store and search: title, author, key word, source
and 64KB codesnippets. If you have also installed STupX, you're able to
compile and start the snippets directly. No copy and paste to PB's IDE necessarily.
There are already included about 500 examples from the forum...

But unfortunately, it's written in german language...

I wrote one many years ago.. using PowerBASIC.

I still use it for various things. It creates standard DBF files. A nice feature is that it automatically creates a backup file of your work, so if a file ends up corrupted, simply look in your backup folder.

I had color coding in it for PowerBASIC.... that obviously won't work in Pure.

You might find it useful. Perhaps give you ideas for a Pure version??

Looks nice. But how did you do the syntax coloring? Always wondered how that is done :)
Maybe you could add so the user could add their own syntax highlighting files for other languages ;)

Hey Geo.. since my new job. It, like my life, has been on hold.

But now, if there is still a want for it. I'll start it back up. It will be a nice
project to really test out the betas.

And now that I have my domain up and running here at the house.. I can
support it via my web.

Yeah?

Yeayh go for it Noah.
I was actually looking for a program like that again today.
I've found a few but none that actually satisfy my needs. And most of them were shareware and kinda expensive.

Have you setup a site? If so, what's the url? So I can bookmark it for later :)
