PureBasic 6.21 beta 10 is out !

Thanks a lot!

I can not install the software (Win 11 64bit).

Message "security protection" occurs as usual.
But now, can not be clicked away (further information... -> run anyway) anymore.
Anyone else having this problem?

@Marc56us: thanks for the info.
I guess it's now finally blocked by IT at our site.

No problem installing it on Windows 11. The usual Windows Defender message, but the rest of the authorization windows appear. I had 3 seconds delay after first window (Windows Defender) (even though I'm on a powerful machine i9 14K), but it works.
Also tested on my smallest machine (Intel Celeron J4125 @ 2.00GHz) Windows 11 Pro too, with no problems.

@Team Thank you :D
PS. For the next version, please change the help background color to white (like the help of SB): that pale old yellow (and Courrier font for sample) makes the help look like an old Windows 3 program.

Please don't change background to white!
I like this warm color and it's better for your (and my) eyes.

so what? What has "old look" to do with functionality?

Why should functionality be all that matters?
If PB wants to find new customers, appearance counts too.
I find the choice of colors and fonts (help and IDE) in SpiderBasic much more pleasant and relaxing than in PureBasic.
That said, it's a personal choice and it's not a problem because we can edit and recompile the help easily, so don't change anything.
(I'll stop my suggestion there, as it's not the subject of the topic)

DeepL: The background doesn't have to have a color. It should be any shade of gray or white or black. Note that any site uses a colorless background, or a slight tinge of color, but not saturated colors.

Yandex: The background should not have a color. It should be any shade of gray or white or black. Please note that any website uses a colorless background, or a small shade of color, but not saturated colors.

google-question: "Do the receptors lose their color perception in the eyes?"
Google-the answer: Yes, color perception receptors (cones) in the eyes can lose their sensitivity to colors, and this leads to color perception disorders such as color blindness or other anomalies.

En plus, si c'est facile à faire, POURQUOI ne pas le faire ?? :idea:

Why do you think it's easy to do ? It needs to be done for 3 subsystems. Also it's the English forum and definitely not the topic to post such request...

I didn't say it was easy to do, I said: "IF it's easy to do, WHY not do it?"

And sorry for speaking French here. But on the French forum, there have already been long posts in English, and I got yelled at for pointing it out. So...

Just tested latest Beta with my 63k lines Game Project "The Ruins of Calaworm". Runs fine and fast as ever, in all 3 Substystems (DirectX9, OpenGL and DirectX11), No CompilerIf exceptions needed. Especially stoked, that FullScreen TaskSwitch in OpenGL now works flawlessly!
Awesome work, Fred & PureBasic-Team! 8)
