PureBasic 6.03 LTS is released !
Re: PureBasic 6.03 LTS beta 10 is ready to test !
The slow IDE scrolling bug still exists in Beta 10 (see viewtopic.php?t=78887), so I'm using the custom "PureBasic.exe" that Fred released a while back, as it's NOT slow.

Thank you Fred for the accessibility!

True. It will be tackled properly for next version as it needs time to test (Timo did some optimization and I also did some change to avoid triggering the parser only when moving the cursor).BarryG wrote: Fri Oct 06, 2023 11:31 am The slow IDE scrolling bug still exists in Beta 10 (see viewtopic.php?t=78887), so I'm using the custom "PureBasic.exe" that Fred released a while back, as it's NOT slow.

Thanks so much, Fred! Especially for the accessibility

If there is anything else we can add to make the IDE more accessible (large or small) feel free to post a feature request or a bug for it. I want the IDE to be usable by everyone but I have to be aware of the issues to change them.

This bug make the help totally unusable. If I open the help via F1 and I click on the help content to select something (code sample, constants, etc) everything crash with a segmentation fault. And if happen to have a source code unsaved I lose all modification. I'm using the online help since this bug report.freak wrote: Fri Oct 06, 2023 8:31 pm If there is anything else we can add to make the IDE more accessible (large or small) feel free to post a feature request or a bug for it. I cannot reproduce the error with the help. The IDE does not crash on me.
About macOS Sonoma on Mac Mini 2018 (Intel)
Beta 10 runs very well and the sporadic crashes like in beta 9 have not occurred so far.
The jumps in the cursor when moving up or down are also no longer present.
To Fred and Timo. Many thanks

Hello StarBootics,
I had not used my Ubuntu versions 18.04 and 22.04 for a long time and updated these VM's once.
With Beta 10, the PB help does not crash, even when I click back and forth in the help.
VM Host: macOS Sonoma with Parallels

Thank you for the accessibility, I am lucky enough to not be in need, but I greatly appreciate it!
Regarding help crashes:
Here under a native Kubuntu 23.10 installation everything works.
Regardless of X11/Wayland session gtk3/gtk2 GUI.

I don't know whether these count as accessibility problems, but the IDE has some issues with higher DPI settings:freak wrote: Fri Oct 06, 2023 8:31 pm If there is anything else we can add to make the IDE more accessible (large or small) feel free to post a feature request or a bug for it.
