I think that Joachims (and others) findings shouldn't be dropped based such non-scientific arguments that
can be found here.


One example: Make the wheel spin inside a glass bowl, and I'll beleive you!

How can you be shure the glass bowl doesn't shield the effect, just like a bridge over a highway cuts your
car AM radio reception off when you pass under it?


Or, how can you be shure the sceptics does not block every attempt at reproducing these kind of effects by just
not believing in them when people try to demonstrate them in a 'controlled' study?


It's a bit weird to see what kind of non-scientific proofs people accept to discard these questions, compared
to what kind of proof they need to believe in them, isn't it

No utopimania, its really not that weird. Its our PERSONAL believings that changes, and its only ourself that can say what kind of things we would need to believe it.

The thing is, that i have made the psi wheel work using a few hot cups of coffee (tried to copy the example from the website), and it WORKED!

So unless coffee has telekinetic powers, i wont believe it

How can you separate these effects in a scientific manner??

Joakim's claim is that he has made the wheel start and stop spinning when he wills it, so the coffee argument isn't going to convince him...... so, to Joakim I offer this challenge: make it start spinning at exactly the same time you put your hands near it, and make it stop exactly when you move your hands away from it...... After all, if it's your will doing it, then this should be a simple task to do..... but as it's just related to heat from your hands, it won't happen...... surely you can see reason now??????

Or, to put it another way: put a digital clock next to the wheel in your videos, and make the wheel start spinning exactly when the minutes are an even number, and stop exactly when the minutes are an odd number..... this way you can have your hands near it if you want..... and if it's your will moving it, then you should be able to do this challenge...... but it won't work.

It moves because of the HEAT. Well, this just shows im more educated than you. I know warm air MOVES UPWARDS

Actually, the clock test could be faked by editing..... probably not a good test.... and Joakim, the coffee worked here for me too..... weird that it doesn't work for you, eh??????

Did you get it to spin many rounds?
Here it didn't spin a complete round.

I got it spinning like holding my hands at it!

@thefool, well, we all know warmer air moves upwards, so what's makes you think youre so much more educated from that fact?

Can you tell me how the warm air moving upwards affects a symmetrical shape? I mean, it's balanced on a pin. Any
straight line from the pin to your hand divides it (the psi wheel) into to two symmetrical shapes, and I just wonder
why the air should be able to make it spin in any direction at all?

Because its not moving upwards in a symmetrical shape. You cannot _just_ hold your hands, you have to hold them in specific ways. I can make it move counter and clockwise just by changing position. Since the hot air moves up you also need cold air from bottom, and it will get "sucked" in and that way push in a non-straight line at the wheel. And when its first moving, the air stream will continiue to make it move.

Wow, why dont't you prove that to us? let's see you move the wheel that way will you?
