Hi Kaeru,

Code: Select all

maybe it's done on purpose by the poster himself - like this one !!
and to me it's obviously smaller as well while useing subsilverPlus
[/size]

Code: Select all

- one could try out if it's a new size-describtion or a single event
by posting some TESTCODE
 ~ Vera

*PUIT*
... i never thought it was possible, I thought the Code-Tags had fix size included...
ok, ignore my question. he had size-tags around his code.

Indeed I used a smaller font size. The font for displaying code in subsilverPlus looks terrible. It's far too big and I wonder why "Courier New" isn't used like in the old board. It's the absolute standard for displaying code.

The search function doesn't work very well. Try to find topics containing "examinedirectory", for example. They're there, they just can't be retrieved by the search.

"examinedirectory" has 15 letters.
I read somewhere the max is 14 letters plus wildcards.

Sorry, but this is, you use following in you search: examinedirectory+
Just you can see a message from phpbb3.

You can write this: examine +directory

Another words, so "examinedirectory" or examinedirectory , it's ok.

This 14-character limit on the search is killing me. The search function used to be a lot better.

@Falko: examine +directory will not find ExamineDirectory. Just individual instances of "examine" and "directory" separately.

I seem to be able to search for it in the forum without any limitations. My search for "ExamineDirectory" found 166 matches.

My search for "character limit on the search is killing me" found 1.

I wonder why you have a limit on your searches while I don't seem to have any limit.

In case I did something weird, here's the link to my search results for "Examine Directory": http://www.purebasic.fr/english/search. ... mit=Search

Ok, thanks Demivec. Seems to be less a case of character limit and more a case of mental retardation. It's working now.

No, it's absolutely not.

examinedirectory in tips and tricks category:
http://www.purebasic.fr/english/search. ... mit=Search

Don't tell me no one has posted a tip with examinedirectory since 2007! Ie. this topic isn't found: http://www.purebasic.fr/english/viewtop ... 12&t=38838 .

Maybe something is wrong with the word separators. ExamineDirectory( isn't found when searching for ExamineDirectory, and it's not possible to search for ExamineDirectory(! When searching for ExamineDirectory(, you get an error message stating that the word ExamineDirectory() (note the extra")") could not be searched for. If you search for ExamineDirectory(), you get an error message stating that examinedirectory| (note the pipe instead of the "(") can't be searched for. It's just so buggy.

Broken redirection on post reply-button on login

With the new php update yesterday again there came two more mischiefs

1. using the only left reply button opens the login-requester as expected but afterwards one is now automatically redirected to the main overview instead of opening the post edit page. So you have to search the forum again to find back to that thread.
In case of relevance - I'm useing subsilverPlus.

2. the german notification reply again is extremly long, cuting off the topic, the essence of the message

As told before several times that german notification intro is so long that you hardly see what it is about in the mailclient and in the popup you only get the first two topic letters (besides that popup is very wide but only showing that long intro).
In between there had been an update changing the german reply to english - so one wasn't able to distinguish where it came from - nobody cared, one had to get used to it. Now it's back to german, but why couldn't you simply change this long intro when applying that new update knowing about this mischief?

Sorry for being so upset about it, but being confronted with new update = new mischiefs brings back all past unrelieved frustrations.
