PureBasic Survival Guide

Update.

- typos
- updated to 4.51
- some changes in the section on image depth
- working on the 'debugger' section
- moved the section on 'regular expressions' to a different place

Anticipating the next christmas present (hint, hint) I've brought the Survival Guide up to 4.51 at least as far as I can tell (Now if Alpha & Co release version 4.52 or 4.60 or whatever I hope to be a bit faster with updating the guide, when and if required).

You know where to find it and how to download it. Comments and improvements, as always, welcome!

Perhaps this is the moment where volunteers could enter the 'adopt a survival guide page' program. Pick one single page of the guide, and check it for inconsistencies, and be rewarded with the mentioning of your name on that page! Then again, that might not be considered a reward... (Being associated with the guide, that is )

The trick is to open a window when alt-tabbed.

- fixed some links and typos
- now checking all pages for 4.60 changes (not complete yet but I don't think there are any affecting the guide, to be honest)

Is it possible, that the second example in chapter 5.6 Maps (hash tables) is wrong? There is no map-example in there...

No, you're right, something went wrong there. I just checked, and I don't have an older copy of the original source, I wonder what happened.

If anybody still has a (correct) copy of this page, or the code it contained, please forward it to me.

- restored the original map sample code (thx to vera / yryeti / kukulkan)
- fixed (I hope) all broken links inside the pages (no checks on external links)
