Skin/Theme Engine...Free?

For everything that's not in any way related to PureBasic. General chat etc...

Should we offer our skin engine free for freeware developers?

Aha!

Lol. I did a google search for freestyle because I remembered, vaguely, hearing about it somewhere and that it was good.

As soon as I saw the post, I remembered where I heard that.

Looks good. I am literally itching for this.

:)

[EDIT]

How close to a beta release?

Thanks Flo... I was just thinking about integrating Lua for FX scripting into the engine

I'm still stuck on the problem of not having API Hooking in 9x... It's preventing me from finishing up the release!

If anyone knows asm... maybe you can help!:

Hi PolyVector,

Can you do a pre- subject-to-dramatic-change-without-notice- release that includes the 9x flicker problem?

Well it's only a problem with scrollbars in 9x, but I think it's unacceptable... All my teammates feel that we shouldn't release FreeStyle with major known problems...
If somebody helps me with my asm question, we could have a near-perfect FreeStyle :D

I'd say: Big mouths, little amounts of commitment.

 I knew it!.
More than fine, thanks.
Working on the objects system and the rendering sys. While I write this.

DDS support is good to go since a few months same with many other nifty thingies you might drool at.

The boring part is having to support ATI cards as well   (I can hear thefool bitching from here). I dont care much about matrox and others, etc. Because most havent got real 2.x opengl support, so anyway ... Waste of time, for now.

A guy said: Wow, its like a serious blitz3d!!. (Should that be a complement?, well yes... The high-level functions are similar to b3d's, however, this are real and fast... And whatnot, cross platform support as well).

But I don't like to talk about this!.
I'm not putting the college excuses nor the "got no time", because Ive dedicated many hours a day to this. However its something that takes time, to do it right. I'm not putting together libraries nor wrapping an existant engine / set of libs ;) - I'm doing everything from scratch.... Not even using GLU32 dependencies anymore!, go figure.

Something that I'm working at the moment: Hardware accelerated mipmap generation (and custom software fallback, again.. not using glu32, just my own functions of the image manipulation library).

Yep, its even got its own compressed image format with all the toys ;)
