I've downloaded the latest Scite version (from http://scintilla.sourceforge.net/SciTE.html) and it now includes a Purebasic definition file, and it works great!!!

Just download it and tried it myself, no PB support there. Perhaps you downloaded the install package?

Sorry, forgot to mention you have to enable it!

Open scite, go to Options->Open Global Options File

Now go to the # Import section (almost at the end) and uncomment Purebasic!

Close scite and re-open it...

Now load a PB file and the syntax is higlighted...

I've had a quick look on the purebasic.properties file, and there are still many commands missing in there.

Cool, would be nice to flesh out that list of commands though.

Interesting.

Also something I did not know is that scintilla ( http://scintilla.sourceforge.net/index.html ) is free for use in any way, commercial or otherwise.

GPI could sell JaPBe!

I think GPI should stick a paypal button on his site so those of us who want to show appreciation can.

I agree. I'd happily pay GPI for such a great program :)
