I haven't registered on the SB forum yet. Fred reads this forum too and will see my message.

I tried here and it seems fine, may be you have an old config in %APPDATA%\SpiderBasic ? Try to remove this folder and try again. Anyone else experiencing this ?

I think I figured out why the IDE crashed.
This happens in Win10 if WebView runtime is not installed. The Win10 distribution (*.iso file) does not contain WebView runtime.
There is no such error in Win11.

In SpiderBasic IDE need to add a check for the presence of the WebView runtime and if it is not there, display a message about it.
Because IDE crashes on startup and the reason was not obvious and it looks like a bug.

SpiderBasic forum is rejecting my email address as "invalid" which it is not. I get email notifications from PureBasic Forums all the time. I'm not like everyone else that uses (fake) gmail.com. Hell, even my spell checker knows gmail is improper. I pay for my real email account. It is very real.
I wanted to join to add a comment to the Post complaining there is no tutorial, not even for "Hello World". Would be really great to see how one can create an Android app start to finish, no matter how simple the app. The post I am referring to:
https://forums.spiderbasic.com/viewtopi ... ial#p10826
was not complaining about a lack of sample source code. It was asking about a tutorial. Some kind of guide that shows how to produce a usable app. That's all. I just wanted to second that motion.
