Higher quality icon and logo

Post by marcoagpinto »

Heya,

Could someone replace the icon + logo with these higher quality ones that I have generated with ChatGPT 5?:

Maybe a GitHub commit?

Also, could the “Z” icon be replaced in the forum and website?

ICON:

LOGO:

Thanks!

Please ask ChatGPT to produce real SVGs and not PNGs to get higher quality.

I tried it several times and GPT produces crap in SVG.

Well, I used Inkscape to create SVGs embedded with the PNGs.

ChatGPT said they don't lose quality when resized to LOWER resolutions.

Is this okay now?

Can someone create pull requests in GitHub for the IDE?

Also, the PureBasic forum needs the first SVG, since it has an awful icon.

I think it's not what infratec was thinking...

But don't be mad, I saved the bitmaps, might be useful one day.

I know, but you can use GIMP to resize to lower resolutions without losing quality and then use them as PNGs, for example.

Firefox opens it as non-transparent, but if you open with a PaintShop or whatever it appears transparent.

Believe me; it has no standard alpha channel… (at least from what I can download here  )

I was not talking about svg; the png seems to have an alpha channel, according to best programs (did you miss the free Affinity or Krita???)
but it's set to "no transparency at all"

These are 'fake' SVGs and not what I meant with 'real' SVGs.
I already thought that this would be done and wrote 'real' SVGs to avoid this  .
This method of including pixel based images into an SVG compromises the idea of SVG.

If I have ever time, I will try to create real SVGs.
