That's very sad, PureBasic owes a lot to Mark and BlitzBasic. RIP

that's sad news. I thought I'd met him a few times but I may have confused him with another mark sibly from sun microsystems who worked on the jvm :shock:

Still got my Blitz Basic box for the amiga. Liked programming in Blitzmax.

True very sad but this man was very good programmer

I don't use Blitz basic thought but I hear of very good positive from his products !

RIP Mark :( I think I missed the golden age of Blitz Basic, but I definitely played some of the games and was influenced by the various Blitz tools, then I used Monkey for a few years and he was supportive of the custom IDE I wrote (in PB!)
