Thank you Fred and everyone on the PB team who toiled long and hard to bring us this new version.
Much appreciated.

But i'm puzzled. Why does a small app I cobbled together get inflated to 748 KB under PB 6.10 LTS from 237 KB under PB 6.04 ?
(over 3 times the size for the very same source, without a iota of change)

6.10 has a new c run time, it's been done for security reasons, Fred reluctantly updated the c runtime to use Visual studio 22 UCRT and the change also means windows applications built with 6.10 won't run on antiquated windows OS's like XP or Vista on the plus side it will ease the burden of updating pb libs as most of them would be incompatible with the old crt requiring some source changes and build customization which isn't ideal when you need to update a pb lib to fix a security issue and it also means we can build and link to static libs instead of having to make dll's.

Only XP was dropped actually, PB's minimum Windows version is now Vista (Quite good IMO, more than I'd reasonably expect from any software these days).

Thank you very much Fred and Timo and team for this incredible release!
Really great job! This is a big step forward!
Also, I would like to take this opportunity to thank many of the cool members of this forum for their original, optimal and concise solutions to various issues. We must give them credit that thanks to them (including) Mr. / Monsieur Fred makes his product even more attractive and more stable. I hope that many people understand this and agree with me. This is teamwork! And it’s very cool when people share their experiences for free! This is probably one of the main reasons why I and many others chose PureBasic. For this wonderful community and lively, friendly communication here. Thank you all for your patience when a newbie comes here and asks things that are obvious to you. And you don’t push him away, but answer politely. It's very expensive! Once again I want to say thank you to everyone and may everything be fine with you!
Be healthy! God bless you!

Why is there no page dedicated to "inline c" in the documentation?

Bugs - Documentation; Embedding C code in PB source need to be described
is still an issue for @Fred
