I don't know if you have downloaded the Purebasic demo yet. You can try it out with this one (limited, 800 lines, no API).
The help (F1) is also very well described for beginners and there is an example folder.

With your knowledge of programming languages it shouldn't be too hard to get into PB, but if you're stuck somewhere, there is always someone willing to help on the forum. Just ask ^^

Visit us on https://discord.com/ and look for purebasic. There are english and german purebasic channels.
