You need to report that to Chrome, not here. Only Chrome can get it whitelisted.

You can override Chrome's blocking by clicking "DETAILS" on that red warning page. Then when Chrome then blocks a downloaded file: CTRL+J or go to chrome://downloads/ and you can choose to keep it.

It's the zip file that he can't download; not the website itself. Look at his screenshot.

Yep, this link is blocked :
http://www.purearea.net/pb/download/use ... toitx3.zip

My own link to the BF packet is not blocked :
http://www.purearea.net/pb/download/mod ... ard_BF.zip

It seems the content was scanned.
The name autoit and userlibs suggests that

Under Firefox it is also blocked.

I can confirm that. "userlibs" is a bad word.
Therefore, it does not matter what you enter in the URL: http://www.purearea.net/pb/download/use ... ic.forever

@Andre
Can you rename the folder to "userlibrary" and change all links?

Yep. Same here.

Here's a list from VirusTotal about what is "infected" there (scroll down after it loads):

https://www.virustotal.com/#/domain/www.purearea.net

Maybe those files need to be removed? Just host the sources, and not the exes?

If 67 engines and not least (like Eset, Avira, Kaspersky, BitDefender) find the file healthy and 3 find it suspicious, who to believe?

Disable this feature of your browsers (see options), buy a good AV (ie: one of the 4 I quoted). Your AV (if AV with Internet functions) do the same thing. No need to slow down your machine twice.

PS.
For HTTPS: It's not because a site is in HTTPS that it's safe, it's just that the site bought a certificate for the serveur. For security, no person other than the site administrator should be allowed to upload files to a site in https.
For file certificat: Only one person must have the password to sign a file in a company, otherwise it is useless. Signs anything it's worse than not signing.

PureArea.net is hosting many archives (sources + Exes), which weren't touched for years.

As they are available since a long time, and surely downloaded + used by PB users before, there shouldn't be any viruses etc.
Chrome and some other issues are bad, but for reworking the website there is no time for now...

Anyway I will keep the hints in mind, so thank you!
Bye,

If you click on details etc, it gives the impression that you can download, but after a few seconds:
"autoitx3.zip is dangerous, Chrome has blocked it"

The owner of the site needs to raise a complaint to Google.

Using Let's Encrypt it is completely free. No costs at all.
The english grammar is freeware, you can use it freely - But it's not Open Source, i.e. you can not change it or publish it in altered way.

Yep. But your hosting provider has to allow it, though. I use MyDomain.com and they won't let me use free SSL; I have to pay extra to get SSL support for my website. Not sure if that's legal, but I guess it is if they're doing it? Anyone know?
