A little bit of market research...

Everything else that doesn't fall into one of the other PB categories.

Would you buy a purpose built, professionally developed IDE for PureBasic with full project support, even though you have the official one included with the PureBasic package?

It depends a lot on whether and how and why specialized journalists report about it, i think.
The real problems of successful marketing are often not recognized.
If you don't know anyone who knows someone, it can be very difficult.

Often all that remains is disillusionment.
Just try to market an extension for PB.

Even if you can sell for $10,000, you haven't earned $10,000 yet !

I think you're gonna fail because of this.

Count the entries in this forum...
If PureBasic was an animal it would be considered extinct.
The IT world changed its structure not only some libraries.

A better IDE would be really apreciated, but making money with it -> no way.

But even .NET finally failed and hope for PureBasic still exists :D

I hope no one is mixing IDE and RAD.
PB IDE is small, fast and efficient (unlike bloatwares like Eclipse). Do not change it.
PB IDE contains an excellent project manager.

IDE

RAD (like VB IDE)

Hello Marc56us!
Good hint!

Indeed, price, bloatware character, etc. has all to be compared.

I really apreciate how fast the PureBasic compiler is and how fast and smart the Editor.
Let's wait what we will see next in PureBasic...
