Variatonix - draft of a new game
Hello friends,
I would like to show you my draft of a new puzzle game Variatonix in PureBasic. I'm still developing, but it has clearer outlines. The rules of the game are obvious, I hope
I hope you like it a bit! I welcome any feedback from you. Thank you!

Thank you for this game. Sometimes I have strange behaviors.
If I make a mistake by clicking on the sprite Up Arrow, the game is blocked.

This game is cool with a good visual and auditory atmosphere but difficult when you start. I think the timer is too short. A time bonus when catching a piece would be helpful.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Yes, I know, the time is very tight. Often. But I hope you always find the way. When I tested it and gave it more time, it was very easy. You can help, right down the icon of time. This icon gives you half the time

Re: Variatonix - draft of a new game
Hi zxretrosoft,
Very imaginative box-solving game.
The tutorial is good, I can see what the elements do, but a small tool tip is needed, what are the controls? (keyboard, mouse)
Also as falsam says, the timer is too short.
My idea: the time starts when you click the first element, so you have time to overlook the level.
How are the levels designed? By yourself or randomly by an algorithm?

Re: Variatonix - draft of a new game
Thank you very much!
The game is controlled by mouse and arrow keys.
You can extend the time by 1/2 if you click a small time icon at the bottom right.
I designed fields myself - on square paper
Of course, it would be better to make an algorithm for random levels. The program could generate them indefinitely. I already thought about it when I created the game. But, unfortunately, this is a very difficult algorithm, and in the end it was easier to create levels manually...

This is a great idea, I will do it in the next version! Thanks!STARGÅTE wrote: My idea: the time starts when you click the first element, so you have time to overlook the level.

Re: Variatonix - draft of a new game
Although it is not my kind of game, it looks superb and very well done.
Best wishes to the PB community. Thank you for the memories.
