IDE for DarkBasicPro. Seem familiar?

Hmmm...
I've used Dark Basic Pro for about 8 months. I was lucky enough to have bought it after patch 4 which seemed to have been a big bug fixer. For 3D games, I think it's an excellent tool.
Right now I've been using the trial of PB for some time. Have to say, Fred is going to be $60 richer sometime soon. PB is going to improve the DBP language for me, as well as be helpful for applications and perhaps a small script system I've wanted to make for some time.
PB, DBP, VB, C++, doesn't matter, I just like to program.

-Pure Basic User and loving it!-
It was a big bug fixer! but that and now patch 5.2 (or whatever it is now) still doesn't take into account of the other 1000 or so bugs still present. just take a look at the bugs forums at the DBPro site! 'nuff said! 8OI was lucky enough to have bought it after patch 4 which seemed to have been a big bug fixer.
p.s. did mention it was mega bloated and slooooow too?

DB is still not dead ?!
says it all really!
I have used DB classic for a few years, and DBPro for a few games, but lately I barely use them. As I have said on here a while ago, PureBasic is definitely the best for 2D games and applications, but DB/P is much better for 3D games (which is why it is called a "3D game creator"...)
DBPro is buggy, and the EXEs are bloated (one of the BIG reasons I started using PB), but at least DBPro is fast. Now the ORIGINAL DBC is slow, but DBP is very fast, at least for my needs.
But one more thing, the DB executables are bloated (7 mb for my 2D media player) is because it includes EVERYTHING it needs for Dx9 3D, movies, sprites, and whatever, whereas in PB you only initialize what yo need. But if you plan on a making a large 3D game with lots of media, then a bloated EXE really wont matter much overall...
OK, one more thing for real this time. I recently made a little PB/DB combo project. I made a windows editor in PB to edit particles, and then you can use the data it creates to load as 3D particles into DB. You can check this out and (little) more HERE if you are interested and have DB.
