Can i control the audio output socket (port/head phone)
play one sound thro there while another sound is coming from normal speakers.
this would be used for audio mixing,

Don`t know how usefull it would be for mixing, as the headphone volume level on the drive isn`t controllable by software.
Can`t you mix the CD audio on the soundcard? at least you have control over the volume there.
