Default Win 8.1 desktop

I recently installed the 90-day trial of Win 8.1, and this is the
desktop display. Is this the default for every 8.1 install, or is
it just the trial display? I need to know if I should take any
screenshots of my app against this yellowish background.

I think it changes - just look at your personalisation settings.

I know my desktop was different, but I went to windows 8 and then upgraded...

But I know I have seen that background and thought "my eyes, my poor eyes!"

Afaik from the standard installation, it changes the wallpapers.
If you want take and share screenshots of your app, i have just to say to things:

1)
People are interested in the app and its GUI; and not on what type of wallpaper you are running.

2)
I think today most people are using widescreens (16:9 and 16:10) instead of 4:3 screens.
I would prefer to take and share 16:9 screenshots of your app, since most people are using widescreens and the screenshots may look more modern.

I see. So this yellow one will change dynamically at some stage?
It's what 8.1 installed by default, so I assume it's that way for

Hehehe, yes, but my app does something with the desktop, so
they need to see everything; not just my window.
