What Operating System do you develop for? Small poll...

Post by Kukulkan »

Hello,

[EDIT]
I just finished this poll! Thank you all for participating.

The results are here: http://www.purebasic.fr/english/viewtop ... 34#p374134
[/EDIT]

I'm very interested in the answer for some of my questions about PureBasic. I follow some forum threads here and I'm just curious about the opinion of more members than just the ones in such discussions. Please help to get a better overview.
As I'm missing polling functions, please copy the following form and simply mark your answers.

Thank you

*1= Multiple answers are allowed.
*2 = Only one answer allowed. If you have more, please choose the most important one.
Please try to keep the format for easy analyzing.

My programming intention: *1
[ ] private / hobby (non public / for your own needs only)
[ ] public internet (freeware / open source)
[ ] public internet (shareware / offer small licences)
[ ] public commercial (commercial and professional products with appreciable price)

My PureBasic satisfaction on functionality and quality: *2
[ ] fully satisfied
[ ] medium satisfied, but I think some points are still missing or insufficient
[ ] it's ok for me, but I know there are some real issues
[ ] I'm completely dissatisfied

I would like to see PureBasic-team focusing more on: *2
[ ] game development functions (game engines, better or more graphics and sound)
[ ] application development functions (more professional gadgets, deeper functionality, more OS integration)
[ ] cross plattform functionality (both language and development environment)

NOTE: Question 1 - answer is true (Windows) but soon to begin with Linux and later MacOS, when I can buy a system (I have many requests for a native Mac edition).

Question 4 - cross-platform will be very important, otherwise I would have said "quality enhancements" - because stability is vital, but no criticism intended.
