I've searched and searched for an example that works - I've found a few, and some come close to work; but ultimately fail for some reason (returns blank entries, when it shouldn't)
I thought I had an example using wmi & comate; but I cannot find it. -- Anyone have an example of reading the various windows event logs?
How to read the windows eventlogs?

Much depends on what you actually need to do.
Take a look at the Microsoft reference: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library ... 85%29.aspx
