Especially version 4.50+ is so awesome because of unlimited possibilities for building dynamic data types such as lists in maps etc. Version 4.51 is really worthy of being a "decadal birthday release".
Thank you, and all the best for the next 10 years!

I agree, I love to read each blog entry. And even if the feedback there through comments isn't that high (for example I don't want to register just for that purpose), please keep posting nice indepth reports about PureBasic.Seymour Clufley wrote:EDIT: I've read the blog. It's a lovely little document about PB's history. I wanted it to be longer and more in-depth, though. It's fascinating to read! Thanks again for PB, and v4.5. The latest version is a brilliant update to the language. Arrays/lists/maps inside structures has really changed how I code, for the better!
If any of you native English speakers have any suggestions for the above text, please let me know (via PM). Thanks!

Btw, you've forgotten to update the help file's history section. Last entry is from 7 June 2010 : Version 4.50.

Re: PureBasic 4.51 is out !
Congratulations for the 10 years milestone, and thanks.
I have to say that considering all the changes the compiler has gone through, the rewrite of the libraries, the support of more platforms etc. it's really impressive what a so small team was able to do in so little time.
I really hope with all my heart this project will continue forever

What better way to celebrate an anniversary than to release a new version!

Congratulations on PureBasic's decennial.
I've been using PureBasic for only the second half of that last decade. Things have advanced quite a bit. You've created a great product. I eagerly look forward to each an every improvement.
