Well, correcting yourself doesn't mean your are "not being yourself".Would I have changed anything in my life if I had the chance? Sure a few tweaks here and there, but I'm generally happy with myself,
what I've experienced have made me what I am, and I would hate to not be "myself", right? *laughs*
It's pretty stupid when someone is wrong about something and justifies saying "That's how I am". It's the same as saying "I like being wrong".
We shouldn't always trust our feelings, because we are influenced by lots of external factors. Some people like to eat something or even practice a sport because of what other people think. The media doesn't want you to like what is good for you. They want you to see an ad with strawberries covered in cream and sugar and believe that your strawberries will taste like nothing without it, just to sell it. People end up loving industrialized products.
And then you think you are happy doing what you want when you actually are just being a dumb consumer.
Don't get me wrong, I am not trying to prove anything about your particular case. My concern about your health might seem kinda hypocrite, but I really think you should reflect upon what is really good for you, not just what makes you happy.
People usually only care for their health when they are sick. You are right, that was my case. But sometimes you don't get a response from your body right away, as I did. In some years you can get a cronic disease, and when you regret it, there will be no way back. You are deluding yourself into thinking your are invencible, as long as you are happy.Well, being sick, and not having energy (in particular) are messages from your body, and by the sound of it you luckily paid attention to it.
Basically if you enjoy the way you are, keep with it, if you don't like it, then change. Being happy is the key, regardless. (even if it could be seen as unhealthy)

Hey, look on the bright side...I'm not dead yet! *grin*Fou-Lu wrote:Don't get me wrong, I am not trying to prove anything about your particular case. If I live I live, if I die I die. I stopped fearing death a long time ago.
I'm likely to die of age than anything else.
The only thing I wish was that the days where longer and that sleep cycles where further apart because there is too many freaking projects I got at some stage or another.
I wonder how far human cloning has gotten since last I checked, I could need a clone to get some of these projects done, maybe I could get back to composing more music then too. *hmm*
My life may not make much sense to you, but I'm an Absurdist with a love for Logic and Chaos. *smiles*
There is also the possibility that I'm a Sociopath I guess. *evil grin*
