I think it has to do with the golden rules of fireworks we always follow:

1) Don't throw with big rockets.

2) Always wear

3) If the bag you carry the fireworks in begin to smoke, you just throw it.

4) if something looks wrong, it is wrong.

5) The bigger the boom, the better.

6) Run and take cover if rule number 3 or 4 is actual

7) Even when you've had that beer too much, its still not a good idea to launch rockets from your hand
