Powered by PureBasic logo

Post by tinman »

Hi,

It was mentioned in this thread (http://www.purebasic.fr/english/viewtop ... c&start=15) by a few people, and I'm sure I've seen it in other threads.

Are there any official "Powered by PureBasic" type of logos, suitable for either embedding in applications or for use as links from other sites?

Or do people just butcher up a copy of http://www.purebasic.com/images/logopb.gif ?
If you paint your butt blue and glue the hole shut you just themed your ass but lost the functionality.

I made a logo for PB in Gimp. I know it doesn't look perfect, but i'm not professional graphic designer. The Gimp "source code" for the logo is included and the graphics come in 5 different sizes, encoded as alpha-blended PNG :).

[Edit]
See my next post (on the second page) for the updated graphics pack.

I am using this one on my website:

Image

Image is supposed to have transparency!

LOGO IS FREE FOR COMMUNITY TO USE FOR ANYTHING THEY WANT TO DO EXCEPT RIDICULE PUREBASIC

And anyone can feel free to use it as well... don't hotlink it but DL and use it in your own directory!

I like this thread, and would be happy to provide a collection of suitable "powered by PureBasic" logos on www.PureArea.net

So every programmer can just grab them from their and support PB this way...

All what I need: every poster must announce, that the logo is free for use to everyone.

All these logos are different and really only one should be used and that one should adhere to the official identity of Purebasic. Also it should be up to the PB team to provide this logo so the community uses an official one.

@Andre: That would be nice, you can use any of my graphics as well... Still waiting for my Restaurant POS to be displayed on the screenshots page! ;)

More graphics y'all! : D

@Fluid: I like your first one more... both are good! : D
@Inf0byt3: Like yours as well... I am thinking maybe a small drop shadow behind the letters might set them off a bit better :D
