As far as I have tested, not all sprite commands work using DirectX9. DirectX7 works, but Vista switches from Aero to Basic Desktop.Holly wrote:It was mentioned that Vista compatibility for the Sprite library was planned for 4.20. Did this make it into 4.20?
Thanks for the new release!

Re: PureBasic 4.20 - All OS
I'm probably just slow, but has anyone else mentioned that the update is 2MB bigger than the install?
If you paint your butt blue and glue the hole shut you just themed your ass but lost the functionality.

Does it really matter? I'm sure it's just compressed differently.tinman wrote:I'm probably just slow, but has anyone else mentioned that the update is 2MB bigger than the install?

Not really, but it makes updates kind of pointless unless I'm missing something. It's far easier to uninstall (or safer - rename the PB directory) and then install the clean version.Mistrel wrote:Does it really matter? The install is compressed with LZMA algorithm (7-ZIP), the update with DEFLATE algorithm (ZIP).tinman wrote:I'm probably just slow, but has anyone else mentioned that the update is 2MB bigger than the install?
