Thanks a lot to the whole PB-Team for their great, great work !!! Image

One Question: Have you done some fixes to the DataBase System (SQLite-Lib)?
Because I read about some DB-Probs within Beta1 and need a reliable DB-Engine, I've not swithed to 4.20 jet.
If you think it's more reliable now I'd give it a try.

If it is still version 8 I highly encourage you to use MSVC 9. It offers even more optimizations and produces lighter code than v8.

Yep, can't start the compiler from the IDE here either!

Uhm, can someone explain what is going on here please?

I can´t get it to work here too.
c:\Program Files\PureBasic420\Compilers>pbcompiler /VERSION
PureBasic 4.20 Beta 1 (Windows - x86)
c:\Program Files\PureBasic420\Compilers>pbcompiler /VERSION
Das angegebene Programm kann nicht ausgeführt werden.
After the update PBCompiler.exe is corrupted :?

I'm not having any problems with this version - not yet anyway.

Thanks to the PB team for fixing the debugger issues. It's great to be able to use it again! :)

I can't run it either!

Edit:
This application has failed to start because the application configuration is incorrect. Reinstalling application may fix this problem.

now I'm one of those people who are not having problems running PB, but I installed Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable Package (x86)
the other week, and I am wondering if you guys have it installed? Must admit, it is purely guesswork on my part... but a stab in the dark is aways worth trying IMHO :P

All running very smoothly for me here using Xp Sp2 with no update problems what so ever. I have no other compilers installed on here at all these days not even Visual Express, just good ol PB.

Thanks for the idea, Lucifer[SD] but it didn't help here. I can't run this beta for love nor money no matter what I try.
