Variable Viewer suggestion

Got an idea for enhancing PureBasic? New command(s) you'd like to see?

Variable Viewer suggestion

Post by PB »

When viewing variables in the Variable Viewer (LOL), I think it would look
better if the "Value" and "Type" columns were swapped around, and have
the "Value" column expanded, because I hate having to manually resize
the "Value" column to see the values. Does this make any sense?

Agreed, I find myself resizing a lot too!

i can't find type-informations about variables in that viewer today. was it removed? i would like to have that. and i would like to distinguish between globals and lokals, too.
maybe i just missed some settings? because i dont' have any 'columns' (only buttons to switch the kind of identifiers displayed)

I agree the resizing is a pain, but additionally I would like the Update button to extend ALL the way along the bottom of the window. Then, when the Variable Viewer window is half-off the left- or right-edge of the screen (as I usually prefer it to be), the Update button will be clickable whithout having to move the window.
