Here's my mockup of a fully skinnable PureMessenger (it still lacks some gadgets, but whenever I have free time I'll work on it) ^o^:

<REMOVED>

PS: I thought that pink would scare you guys so I chose a more soft color, turquoise ^_^.. By the way Inf0Byt3 not bad ^_^

Thank you! Your doesn't look bad either :).
This whole thing is pretty hard without proper subclassing and that requires much time and a spare brain...

It's only because of the alignment, spacing and sizes. Else it's ok in my opinion. No need for extra skinning, just fix the sizes.

i like this one:

but perhaps without the search bit, at least for now.

i reckon tabs are the way to go, especially with multiple accounts :)

the login bit im not so sure about... perhaps you could make a 'mini' version of it that goes in another tab, called something like "sign in another (account)"
i sure as hell hate gaim's way of doing things, so we'll come up with something... any ideas?

It has nothing to with logging in, it's for changing your status:
- Logged on
- Busy
- Back in a minute
- Away
- On the phone
- Out for lunch
- Show as logged off
- ------------------------------ -
- Log off
