OGRE doesn't work
Several have posted they disagree. That is a hollow statement as nobody has been able to backup their words for several years. Please show me one completed 3D game done entirely using PB's native 3D functions. I am not aware of any.I disagree.
Some great 3D games have been made using PB, but all of those games have had to use proprietary 3D engines or use readily available 3D engines.
If PB actually supported ALL the features of the latest version of Ogre, we would see some really good stuff being turned out, as Ogre has progressed into a great engine. Even though I dislike 3D, I enjoy going into stores and seeing games on the shelves that were made with Ogre.
Well, it's ok for now. Since I'm the only one that has this bug
Leadwerks will soon provide a DLL version of their engine again and I'll do the PureBasic includes. The OGRE stuff in PB could never compete with that engine.

And so are many cheap notebooks.Brice Manuel wrote:Dell notebooks usually only have a crappy Intel video chip which rarely handle OpenGL or D3D properly.
We've had some experience on that and it's not an easy thing to deal with. That's why I'm still sticking with my good reliable PC for now. Until full compatibility with Direct3D and OpenGL is provided.
A lot of desktop PCs only ship with the crappy Intel MOBO video chips or slightly better ATI/NVIDIA MOBO video chips. Pretty much why I avoid using DX or OpenGL for my gamesbyo wrote:And so are many cheap notebooks.

Try this...
I have the same problem on one of my machines that doesn't have a fancy video card. I solved it by using PNG files only. Try converting the JPGs to PNGs or BMPs and see if that works.
