I'm no idiot, but I'm having a dickens of a time learning the how-to's of PB programming. PB seems to be much more powerful than Blitz, except for a few things:
3D support (well, in Blitz3D) and
Help system/manual. If someone could take a look at their demo (http://www.blitzbasic.com) and see what I mean: There's A User's Guide, tutorials, etc.
A reference guide is fine if you already know your way around, but what if you don't? I checked out the reelmedia website, but there weren't that many tutorials.
I'll figure it out eventually, but this is frustrating...I downloaded the Blitz demo and was programming simple games the same day after reviewing the user guide and examples.
I don't know...Maybe I *AM* an idiot!
