You need a breadmaker to make the crust, not really necessary but it's a lot less work. Or you can cheat and buy a premade ball of fresh Pizza dough, they're really pretty good.
Crust:
1 1/4 cups Beer
1 TBSP Butter
1 TBSP Sugar
1 TSP Salt
2 3/4 Cups White Flour
1 1/4 TSP Active Dry Yeast
1/2 TSP oregano
Make the dough according to the dough setting for your breadmaker, on the last knead toss in the oregano. Punch it down, put in a covered bowl and leave it in the fridge until tomorrow. Not necessary but really improves crust flavor.
Chop small or slice:
a bunch of green pepper
1/3 of an onion
3 or 4 large mushrooms
1 tomato sliced very thin
Important: Set all vegs on a paper towel to soak up any excess moisture while you're making the rest of the pizza. This is an important step to avoid a soggy result.
Fry up:
6 slices of bacon (not too crisp, it has to go in the oven yet)
1/3 pound of ground sausage (just barely done, it has to be baked yet)
I use Primo Pizza Sauce. Unico is pretty good too.
Roll out your dough, put in a large heavy pizza pan well slopped with olive oil
Poke holes in the dough so baking won't cause bubbling up
Spread on the sauce
Sprinkle about 1/2 pound of good Mozzarella or a blend with Monterey Jack
Sprinkle all vegs except tomato on first, then the meats, tomatoes go on last
Cover and bake 12 minutes in a 400-degree oven, then uncover and bake another 8 minutes
Optionally cover the crust edges with aluminum foil and place 8 inches under the broiler for five minutes to give the top a nice finish.
I developed this recipe over 7 years of trying to match a Pizza Hut pizza, and everyone who's tried it says they're amazed at the results. I haven't varied this method since five years, as everyone feels it's as close as it gets.

Hmm - yum reminds me of what I made yesterday.. bought fav crust but I laid out a topping of BBQ chicken, briefly cooked asparagus in butter, spring onion/eschallots, raw corn kernels, mushrooms, red capscium and onion rings. It was great - I was tempted to take a pic also, but eating it won out.
