PureBasic General Information Forum

Post by netmaestro »

I think all stickies except the "please read before posting" ones should be moved out of the forums they're in and put into a new forum called "PureBasic General Information." Some of these forums just have too many stickies. (imho.)

How about creating a "Resolved Questions" section where all questions answered must be move there. Its easier to search in one section than searching the whole forum. :)

I agree with netmaestro. Stickies are nice in theory, but in reality are a nusiance and interfere with browsing the forums.

Also, the new forum created for this purpose would be quite small, containing only those threads that are currently sticky in other forums. The broad user base wouldn't have the ability to create new topics there, only reply to existing ones. The forum's topic list would grow only as mods/admins saw fit to move something in there. I'm sure most understand this as the basic shape of the idea, but I just realized rereading my original post that I didn't describe it completely.
