*.scene
*.scene
I thought I saw some code where someone had loaded a *.scene file. Anyone know of this or am I dreaming?

What kind of file is that? I searched the web and the only thing I came across is an application called "Amiga Sculpt 3D/4D". Is that correct? If I'm right here you can cleary see that this is a very rare file format produced by a program wich is very, let's say, uncommon? Not to mention that it seems only be available on different OS.
I tried to look for a file format description so you could program our own importing routines but I had no luck so far.

It's expoted from FreeWorld 3D, a advanced terrain designer. I believe it's an OGRE format. I never did check with the OGRE documentation though.

Yeah it is, I just checked the Freeworld3d documentation. So now correct me if I'm wrong but isn't that exactly the reason why you shouldn't need a file importer? OGRE files are the native 3D model format of PB and can easily loaded with the 'LoadMesh()' command.I believe it's an OGRE format. I never did check with the OGRE documentation though.
Sorry about the delay. Didn't know anyone had posted after my last post.Fluid Byte wrote:Yeah it is, I just checked the Freeworld3d documentation. So are you saying that the OGRE *.scene file should load using "LoadMesh()"?

That's ok, took only 21 days LOL!Sorry about the delay. Didn't know anyone had posted after my last post.
Well, you told me that you export the models from FreeWorld 3D, wich supports the ORGE format. So if you done exporting you should have a .mesh file, wich again, is the native format of PB.So are you saying that the OGRE *.scene file should load using "LoadMesh()"?
If that's all correct you should be able to load your models in PB without a problem.
