Is there anyone else out there who has had Windows Live messenger crash on their computer?

Nope, but it sometimes disconnect.

its only happened for me a few times, and i dont know why it does it, today it did it when i logged on......

Omg, i'm getting an error on every reconnect in the module esent.dll

But i keeps working even after the error had been generated

Windows Live Messenger is just a new-skinned MSN Messenger, maybe it has some other features, but it still and is the same and old bad messenger
GAIM rules, you should check it out! The Windows Live Messenger is just a waste of harddisk space and RAM memory (as I had WinXP, MSN Messenger took more than 45% of my total RAM [I had 1.5Gb RAM ])

I don't know what the hell you were doing with MSN, at the moment it's only using 8,270 KB of RAM on my laptop - and that's only got 512 MB or RAM which is shared with the graphics chip!

on my computer, i have IE, OUTLOOK, WLM, and a few others running, and my cpu usage doesnt go above 12% very much
