Wonder what's up?
The new owner bought Pyxia a year ago. At first he was around the forums a bit, then he was rarely around the forums. Several months ago, he just disappeared and stopped responding to the forums, email and phone calls. A couple of months after he disappeared, the forums were hacked. The owner was made aware of the situation, but chose to ignore it. The moderator did what he could to put up new forums and keep things in order.
There were a few people who were not getting orders filled, as well. After having the police check up on the owner and they found that he is okay, there has still been no response from the owner to the community. To date, the new owner has not contributed anything to the community or the product, and has not discussed any plans for the future of the products.
The owner had people working on official updates for the products and they were left in the lurch. Thankfully, the new developer of the 2D pak is still working on the 2D pak and has implemented a lot of new features, fixed bugs that have been in the 2D side of IBasic since IBasic standard and is working on even more new features for the 2D pak.
After getting fed up with BMax's bugs and incompatibilities, I went back to using IBasic because I was told about the new 2D pak in the works. Unfortunately, I returned right before the forums were hacked and everything fell apart. The majority of the community left after the forums were hacked. Another large percentage left because of the actions, or lack thereof, of the new owner. It is obvious to most that the owner doesn't care about the community or the product for whatever reason.
A handful of us diehard IBasic users stuck around. Unfortunately, some of us have been banned from the forums and others have been "warned" on the forums because we discussed the situation with Pyxia itself.
