Question about install Purpase with Suse 9.1

Hi

I am using the current version of Pursebasic with Suse 9.1, gtk 2.x and sdc 1.2. I set the proper enevorement varbales and after I type ./purbasic then I get this error GTK warning cannot open display.

do you have the X server installed ? can you launch another graphical application (try gedit) from the shell ?
