Easier said than done. Most SysAdmins frown on things like instant messengers, InternetRelayChat, ICQ and EVEN 'Forums'.

That is exactly the case : where I work you have to ask the permission to
access a forum and and write a note justify your need for it ... ( to people
who still think that FORTRAN is THE language ... ). That is certainly kind of
stupid as we have free access to the net and most people vaste more time
on Yahoo, Ebay and suches than they would on forums ... ( that also explain
my confusion between IRC, ICQ and other internet related items : I never
use them ... )

Bests.

Stan.

Since I attended an MS course, my programs no longer have bugs ... just hidden "features" !! [ PB. registered user ]

Can you remember the (nick)names, ICQ number or anything ??
Maybe you can look in your ICQ History ??

If this guys are still in the german forum
i want to know who they are.
As a moderator in the german forum i dont accept
spreading illegal copies of PureBasic.

If you remeber anything you should write me eMail
or private message, MrVain !! Thanks...

I find that hard to believe Fred. Since we are using NASM to do the actual assembling/compiling and we can modify our .asm code before the final product; any 'footprint' you may conceive can be easily circumvented. I am not advocating piracy, but I don't think scare tactics work.
You're wrong. A PureBasic is VERY easy to indentify, just include one of the PureBasic function and I will detect it. The .asm is only the body of the programs, but all the functions are precompiled and you can't change anythong about it. Hehe .

. BTW, it's not specific to PureBasic, any langages can be easely indentify, execpt maybe pure ASM programs (but I've heard than a finger print could be found on some assembler too).

Asking for WAREZ is considered as criminal, I suggest all users who got similar infos, please keep them as "evidence", and inform Fred for such suspencious activities.
