adding color
Yes, you're right, and now that I look at them some more, they are kind of nice. They just need some color. That sort of drab grey-blue is dated. It is not a color that stays in style long (like olive-green appliances from the 50's in the U.S.)
I guess all I'm saying is that they could use some color (that and I don't like the undo and redo icons...sorry).
The website needs some color too.
Other than that, I really think the IDE is a great improvement. Good job Freak! (I'm not trying to be critical...just trying to help. Give us come color....I have to look at the IDE all day long since I program in PB full time...so maybe that's why it means something to me.)

icon colors
Yes, it's the color. That's why they don't look different to me, but they are. They are nice, just need some color. That's all.
When you have to view an IDE all day long things like color start to matter. It is an emotional thing (ask a psychologist).
But this IDE is a big step in the right direction!

of course, thanx, i know how to do it manually but i'm boring to do so while developping with TailBite.ts-soft wrote:@Flype
Use this: >IDE >Compiler >Restart Compiler
So what i would like is an option that restart it automaticaly.

oops
How dumb am I. I've just been playing with the new IDE (I'm still a jaPBe hold-out). You can change the icons yourself. I've selected the standard version of UNDO and REDO. Boy do I feel dumb
Great job! I think I'll switch over now (I would still like to see more color in the default icons, but now it's not the issue it was). Sorry if I wasted anyone's time.
One thing I like about the new IDE that is better than jaPBe is that when you double-click on a constant or and string$ var it selects the whole constant or variable and not just the word. Cool!

Hi all,
After a long hiatus due to other commitments, I'm back onto playing with PB. I've just upgraded from 3.93 to 94 today and felt the need to post a big thank you to Fred for the wonderful PB and Freak for the changes to the IDE. Awesome
I have used Japbe for a long time simply because it was much better all round than the native PB IDE. However, the new PB version has just about all the bells and whistles I need, so I'm sticking with it.
Thank you once again for all the hard work, it is very much appreciated.
Regards,
Jim
