I love this language. You are doing a great job with it. The concept of keeping everything in the form: result = procedure(arguments) is brilliant.
Keep up the good work. If you guys wreck this language I'll personally fly over there to France and have words with you.
Seriously. Stay the course!

Any intelligent fool can make things bigger, more complex, and more violent. It takes a touch of genius — and a lot of courage — to move in the opposite direction.
Not that I am a diehard coder but I've already had some great results in PB. I have some experience from the past (school) in Basic and later in QuickBasic. Also have done some work in TurboPascal. Had also some contact to C++ because some friends of mine are C-programmers but I guess I'm too lazy for it.
Because I think PureBasic is a wunderful clean and a down to earth language (and that's what I like about it) I've done the Dutch translation for the CodeArchive from André. My language skills in Dutch are a bit more developed than my programming skills. This way I feel good because I can help promoting this great product in my own way..
BTW, by working on help translation is a very good way to know more and much about this language.
Most of the questions sent on forums are basic requests that people would solve by reading documentation.
So you will probably continue in lazyness ... but doing good programs.
My avatar is a small copy of the 4x1.8m image I created and exposed at 'Le salon international du meuble à Paris' january 2004 in Matt Sindall's 'Shades' designers exhibition. The original laminated print was designed using a 150 dpi printout.
