But even that could be removed with a /REASM command...
I don't know... but the demo should perhaps give more of a feel of the full
product, to prevent these feelings of "it's crap" after people have paid.
These sorts of threads also do nothing to encourage people to register...

Why not a windowmousebutton command?

We should be encouraging him, not flaming him.
I totally agree with PB.

I think Purebasic is a wonderfull programming language.
And sure I can make a proffesional program with it.
As I look to other programs which are made with so called a proffesional
programming language, then I'am sure PB can do better and smaller.
I've had done programming in almost every programming language in the past, and I can say, none of them are bug free, user support -> NO
Fred, go on you're on the right track.
I have so much fun in programming PB

I confirm that PureBasic can do as much things as any other language ... I will not demonstrate it there, but I demonstrate it to my users and customers since I code apps with it.
From the issue of using the mouse to PureBasic's future considerations, I think that summer time is not appropriate to make good coding, because I am convinced that Balrog Soft can find or get from somebody else the solution for this issue.
I have made some benchmarking about using the mouse catching buttons events using Eventxxxx() functions of PureBasic and it is possible to get buttons signature. Adding API calls may help to find a way to solve issues maybe, obviously it is not the best way to get multi-OS executables ...
It's true that PureBasic does not make it as clear as you think when coding what you want, but nobody can say it is easier to do with any other language. Just read VB or C++ sample codes and tell me where do you think it is better.
What PureBasic gives actually is a good approach of any coding, and it is not only for games or any limited subject. I am designing software since more than 25 years, and I now use PureBasic and nothing else. This is the reason why I sometime find PureBasic tricky ... because I no more want to use something else and as any language it does not have all the functions I am thinking to. So I have to code what misses. And I am happy with that.
My benefits are that I could provide customer apps in a few days with a small and performing executable instead of spending days and weeks, and money.
Just for some features I sometime need, I have to think how to do it. It is normal life for any coder.
So the question was about Mouse used in a window environment ? Just go back to this. Maybe sending part of your code BalrogSoft will help to help you ...
Here is a community of people with some small and large experience about PureBasic and other things.
Just one more thing : I take time to test PureBasic and use it. I take time to participate in documentation translation. I take time to participate to the forum. I take time to build applications samples as good as possible for the community usage. I take time to read messages and answer as far as it may help. And I never had opportunity to grouse here. Reading part of this topic I am just going about to do it.
The matter is not to understand if PureBasic is professional or not, just if PureBasic's users are. Don't worry most of them are even if they are not using PureBasic for business production.
