email notification for forum updates ?

I haven't been on the forum for a while but I noticed that I don't get email updates when topic are updated anymore.

I have the box checked for "Notify me when a reply is posted" and the email in my settings looks okay. ( tested it and re-add it again)

Did this get turned off?

The last email I got from this forum was May 2018.

Not a big deal, just curious since I quite liked being informed.

A search turns up a couple of people in 2015 with the same kind of issue...
viewtopic.php?f=17&t=62691&p=468388&hil ... ed#p468388

But it looks to have just affected them and not everyone. Perhaps I'm another 'lucky' person.

(Yes I checked my spam folder etc etc)

Cheers

Most ISPs limit the number of emails that can be sent automatically via a web application.
This depends on the price paid. For example, some ISPs limit basic subscriptions to 1500 emails per month.
So when the monthly quota is reached, the automatic sending stops.
When the quota is low, the administrator can also limit the use of mails to confirmation of registration and PMs.
This explain why, sometime, you not receive mails one month but again next month.

Me too and since a very long time.
I have searched in AV, spam, change my mail adress, etc...nothing better :|
Apparently i'm not alone, that proof it's not my fault 8)

Suspiciously, When I woke up this morning and checked email, 9 mails were suddenly in my spam folder for the recent post replies.

Looks like it's fixed for me now :)

Perhaps someone rebooted the mail server or something
