Hi all,
I just installed mIRC (http://www.mirc.com) the other day and I thought it might
be cool for us to have perhaps a weekly online chat? We could swap tips
and ask for help, all in real-time.
Anyone interested in doing this? I would propose chatting on a random
Chatnet server (US, EU, or AU) in a channel named #purebasic.

I've setuped the IRC channel to:
irc.debian.org (6667)
channel... #PureBasic
It's better than IRCNet as you can register your nick name and prevent the channel to be stolen etc..
See you soon online

I would be very much intrested in this!. May I recommend http://www.blitzed.org as a server for the chat channel?. A few reasons to consider them is :-
Friendly admin peopleFree java app to chat channel - example can be found on my site (see my sig)The BlitzBasic chat channel is there! (There a lot of people who use Blitz Basic that use Pure Basic)Little to no warez present on the blitzed.org serversChanserv, nickserv and memoserv service'sServers located all over the worldLittle to no net split!Cloaked op option (standard users can't see the @'s and +'s : so everyone looks equal)
So what do you think of that then?. Some of you may or may not know, that i can be found most times in the #BlitzBasic chat channel there with a host of other people.

Use irc.blitzed.org, not http://www.blitzed.org (when logging from mIrc).
