Hi Paul and every Libcoder!!
One suggestion for the Ressource site. It becomes bigger and bigger and It is difficult to see which version has changed through the date next to the Lib. Why not including the Version to the Site and to the name of the Archive?
There is now a better overview what we have and what is not up to date.
only a suggestion.
Bye
PS: Danilo, you SkinLib is VERY Great!! Please continue your work! (And all others too! )

Hi,
That's a good idea, i'll rename my libraries and send them to Paul. I have other suggestions, too:
* I like Wayne's practice of adding a $ after function names that return a string, I'll change mine that way (This is commonly used in some Basics), and I suggest that everybody does it, apart from Fred (it can be painful to change every function name in old codes).
* I would like to see source code from other people, I don't understand why they don't do so. Don't be ashamed, my code is mostly just a bunch of API calls, but I post it because: a) it could help other people to code their libraries; b) other people could help me fixing bugs or optimizing code (well, not really, I only receive new function requests). Anyway, it's up to you.
That's all, have a nice day,

I named my Library "SkinWin_0.10.ZIP",
but Paul renamed it...
I said this before, Version Numbers are
better.
We can see the Date now, but that doesnt
help that much.
The Version number on the site and
in the filename would be much better.
And a "changes.txt" in the archive,
so everybody can see what changed
from the last version.
The thing with the Version Numbers
on the Site and in the Filename is
Paul´s choice.
Dont know why he doesnt like it that way.

Hi all...
I went with upload dates becasue not everyone included a verson number. I will change the dates to version numbers if that is what everyone wants as long as everyone includes them. If there is no version number, I will start it at 1.
Thanks for the tips!
Paul.

Its not your thing to manage
the Version numbers etc...
(why should you do the work ?)
The Library-Programmer should
include the Version number
and a textfile with the changes
from version to version.
Thanks,

Thanks for writing the RichEdit
Library !!
I dont use it atm, but i need it
later, so its cool to have it.
I modified your RichEdit Library to work
within PanelGadgets and Frame3DGadgets -
within any other window.
5 minutes of work and its much better now...
(was only a little logic-thing)
So, thats my little "new year" gift.
Happy new year,

Danilo: thanks a lot, that issue has been a pain in the ass for some time. Fred gave me some clues, but I couldn't make it work (didn't even know there was the same problem with Frame gadgets). But I can't check your changes, my computer is dead and will be for one week or so. Then, I'll send Paul version 1.3 with your changes and some other fixes. If redacid is in a hurry, feel free to send him your version.
Bye, and thanks again!
