Greetings to all,
PB 5.31, x64, Windows 7 x64.
While shutting down a project and cleaning few temporary tabs, I encountered the following error.
No further information was available and I couldn't find any log about this error. It happened while I was switching tabs and I tried to recreate it but with no success.
Is there any way of making this bug report more sane?
With my best,
Bruno

I got the same error after moving a project to a new folder. You find out how to fix this?
This happen whenever I start the ide! I can't use it at all. I have cleared out the folders that I thought had the problem, rebooted, re-installed, all to no avail.
Win 7 x64, 5.31. Worked for 1 week.
Anything in registers I need to look at?
Please Help!!

Re: IDE memory error while switching tabs
Try to close the "New Form" tab... I think there was some issues with that... Maybe this helps.
Re: IDE memory error while switching tabs
The problem is, I can't do anything. Once I click on the error "OK" button the .exe terminates. No other clicks are active.
I'm stuck!

Re: IDE memory error while switching tabs
I've experienced this few times more, every time related to closure of Projects. Is there a way to submit more thorough report since this message is all I got?
Re: IDE memory error while switching tabs
I can tell you only that the problem appeared after I made a new project, including a new form. I then saved the project, and exited. I then removed the project. Now, every time I open the IDE, I get the memory error- and after clicking OK, The IDE exits.
I can't get into ANY file or project now on THIS computer.
No clue how to fix. I have tried replacing the files, but I have must them in the wrong place and/or order- I can't get it run.
I have tried a complete uninstall, reinstall, etc. No help.
PLEASE SOMEONE HELP!

Re: IDE memory error while switching tabs
Hi Charlie. Have you made sure that PB prefs was removed or renamed after uninstallation? Stored in %AppData%\PureBasic

Re: IDE memory error while switching tabs
Find your preference files either in your user directory or the pb install directory(if /portable install) and edit with NotePad or NotePad++.
You can also try deleting or moving them to a backup folder if you want to compare them with the defaults.
"C:\PureBasic\UpdateCheck.xml"
"C:\PureBasic\PureBasic.prefs"
"C:\PureBasic\Templates.prefs"
"C:\PureBasic\Tools.prefs"
"C:\PureBasic\Visual Designer.prefs"

Fixed for now... try not to repeat the steps that caused it to stop working in the first place.
