Note: the value returned here is not a handle (unlike with most other ...ID() functions). Rather, it is the Process ID which may be viewed within the Taskmanager.

On Windows, this is only true for standard Win32 programs, but not for UWP apps, as Dude pointed out.
That should be mentioned in the documentation of ProgramID().

Interesting. I regularly use process IDs to interact with apps, and this is a major issue for me that I was unaware of. So how do we get the process ID of UWP apps then, since we can't rely on ProgramID() at all? Doesn't this issue make ProgramID() totally useless, too? I mean, if it's not going to return the correct process ID, then I'm not going to ever use it again.
