cel/toon shader

Post by J. Baker »

I believe OGRE supports cel-shading but was wondering if anyone knew how to import shaders in PB? Any help would be great, thanks. ;)

You can use material scripts for importing it. Here is a celshading example:
http://www.ogre3d.org/tikiwiki/tiki-ind ... e=Cookbook

The manual is also helpful:
http://www.ogre3d.org/docs/manual/manua ... C_Contents (=> 3.1 Material Scripts)

In PB you can get a PB Identifier through GetScriptMaterial(#Material, "Your Material Name") after calling Parse3DScripts(), which basically loads all scripts inside you 3d archives.

Also, you can take a look to my little material & shader editor here:

I've just added two cel shaders for OpenGL (untextured and textured).

Oh, I got some warning about the website, so I just right clicked your link to your app and clicked "save link as" which worked fine. ;)

@J. Baker:
You're welcome. Nice model, by the way...

@DarkDragon:
Thanks for the warning.
I've cleaned up a little (some old files contained references to a Bitcoin script) and asked Google for a new scan. This morning, my account says there's no malware on the site => problem fixed, I hope. :?
